A new competition for “Short Sharp Shocks” is just beginning on the blog (check out yesterday’s article here). These are brilliant Master games, only a few moves long, and you have to work out the finale.
There are prizes of badges, gold spots and a chess lesson plus a trophy for the overall winner from the six games with the teacher of their choice.
ADDITIONAL PRIZES
Starting from this competition, No. 8, we will be adding more prizes! Players can acquire up to 3 points per week, and by attaining 12 points, three spots on their badge, they will be able to claim a BOOK PRIZE from the Mike Basman Chess Shop of a value up to £4. This can also be used to part purchase a more expensive book.
